    Electronic Board Design Engineer

    Job Definition

    The candidate will design analog and digital printed circuit boards (PCBs) at board schematics and board layout levels.  The candidate will generate all the engineering files to simulate, manufacture, populate and test the fabricated PCBs.  The candidate will perform detailed inspections and tests of the fabricated boards through systematic analog and digital testing/debugging procedures.  The candidate will also perform firmware and software development for the complex mixed-signal boards that will have FPGAs and/or microcontrollers.  The candidate will also be responsible for following up the manufacturing and assembly process and generating all related documentation of the designed boards and test systems for the customers and manufacturers.

    Required Skills

    ·Industrial experience in PCB design including schematic capture and layout

    ·Ability to develop testable PCBs that host voltage regulators, sensors, DACs, ADCs, FPGAs, microcontrollers, and memories.

    ·Knowledge on concepts such as thermal design, EMI, EMC, DFT, DFM and DFA.

    ·Familiarity  PCB manufacturing processes and interfacing with PCB manufacturers

    ·Proficiency in Altium, Allegro, or Eagle

    ·Know-how to use basic lab equipment such as function/pattern generators and oscilloscopes

    ·Experience and know-how on IC packaging and wire-bonding is a big plus

    ·Experience in BGA substrate design is a plus

    ·Familiarity with best practices and procedures to work in ESD sensitive environments

    ·Good written communication skills

    ·Excellent command of written and spoken English

    ·Proficient in Microsoft Office to generate professional looking product documentation

    • Utilization of the data, reports, drawings, documents etc. of the execution projects
    • Coordination with the other discipline engineers in the proposal team and other units in the company departments.

Staja Kabul
