EKOS is hiring a Software Test Engineer to join the engineering team. You will be joining a fast-paced, startup environment where your input really matters. We are looking for a team member to join our Ankara or Istanbul office.
What will you be doing?
- Participate in Testing discussions/scrum meetings.
- Participate in developing Test Cases that verify that all Project Requirements are met.
- Documenting step-by-step procedure for carrying out test cases.
- Executing, completing, and documenting all assigned test cases during an (AGILE) testing Sprint
- Creating tickets for issues discovered during testing, as well as updating and closing tickets.
- Collaborating with the development team on issues discovered during testing.
- Provide/ Participate in making test estimates and test strategies.
- Supporting Production Users of our tools on issues discovered in production. Analyzing the issue and creating tickets against the appropriate team
- Constantly think about improving the Ekos customer experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar work experience
- 4+ years of manual and automation testing experience responsible for testing mobile applications iOS and web applications
- Self-driven and teamwork-oriented
- Must know the testing methodology and how to design effective test cases
- Willing to take on the project of writing software test plan document from scratch
- Must also have automation testing experience and knowledge with mobile applications
- Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in the English and Turkish languages; written and spoken
