About us
History
The first career planning activities in Turkey started in the name of “Employment Office for Alumni” affiliated to METU President’s Office in 1999 and Career Fairs started to be organized across Ankara. With the awareness of being an important bridge for university-industry cooperation from the very first day, and with the aim of carrying out its activities academically, it started operating as an Application and Research Center under the Council of Higher Education within METU Career Planning Application and Research Center in accordance with the regulation published in the Official Gazette on March 23, 2017.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to supporting all METU members in relation to professional life and increasing their preferableness, supporting them in making the right career choice in an easy manner, and creating an environment where they will strengthen their ties with METU both as a “supporter” and “supported” after they graduate.
Our Vision
With a view to achieve our mission, our vision is to help students make conscious career choices, extend support using our vast alumni network, help them be prepared in transition from being a university student to working life and create solution partnerships through recent/former alumni gatherings.
