In line with the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS) and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the RCO seeks to enhance the accessibility, visual coherence, and inclusive representation of UNCT’s knowledge products, reports, and public awareness materials.
To achieve this, highly skilled Online Volunteers are sought to support RCO’s graphic design and visual communication efforts, ensuring that materials adhere to best practices in accessibility, inclusive design, and UN branding standards.
We highly encourage applications from persons with disabilities, specialists in graphic design, and professionals with expertise in inclusivity and accessibility.
Essential:
• Proven expertise in graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling.
• Strong proficiency and access to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
• Demonstrated experience in developing accessible and inclusive design materials.
• Familiarity with UN branding guidelines and communication strategies.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and best practices in disability-inclusive visual communication.
• Fluency in English and Turkish is required
Desirable:
• Experience designing for social impact, development, or international organizations.
• Knowledge of Turkish localization and branding adaptation for international materials.
• Previous engagement in UN or multilateral development communication projects.
