Job Description
XERA is seeking a motivated part-time engineer to contribute to the development and testing of custom integrated circuits (ICs) and X-ray detector
systems. This position is ideal for students interested in analog/mixed-signal
design, PCB development, and detector characterization within a professional
R&D environment. The candidate is expected to work on-site at XERA’s
R&D center at Hacettepe University for at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the testing and documentation of custom-designed ICs.
• Support X-ray detector characterization, including test setup design
and measurement execution.
• Perform simulations related to circuit or detector performance.
• Assist in the design of PCBs and integrated circuits.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with the engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Python.
• Interest or experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• Interest or experience with PCB design (knowledge of tools like Altium
or KiCad is a plus).
• Experience with electronic test equipment and basic soldering.
